• Ground dwellers - nest can be disturbed or flooded

• Require immediate professional care if injured, orphaned, predation, on glue trap, entangled, poisoned or sick. 

• Reuniting is not possible due to unknown den locations.  

• Use gloves and a towel to pick up to contain. Be careful - they do bite

• Keep the animal warm, dark, and quiet
