DO NOT transport a bear cub anywhere else.

Important:

Do NOT assume a cub is orphaned—mom is often nearby

Never approach, feed, or photograph bear cubs

Interference may result in harm to you and euthanasia of the bears

Injured Cub

Contact AWR or NCWRC immediately

Remain on scene until instructed

If unable to reach them, contact us at 704-877-3037. We have a close working relationship with both agencies and will transport the cub to them directly.
